​For nearly a century, the C7 brand has been synonymous with a commitment to quality, tradition, and the enduring spirit of the Canadian West. Our family's journey began in Saskatchewan, where my paternal grandfather laid claim to the Bar C7 brand. This marked the start of a legacy that has been passed down through generations.

My grandfather, George Cook, and my father, Edward Cook, each carried on the tradition, each with their own variation of the C7 brand. Today, this legacy continues with my daughter, Morgan, who has proudly adopted the Bar C7 brand as her horse brand.

As we look to the future, we honor our past and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. We are committed to upholding the values of hard work, integrity, and excellence that have defined our family for generations. A Self-Made Silversmith's Journey

I began my silversmithing journey in the humble confines of my living room, armed with a small desk, a few tools, and a burning passion for crafting. Over time, my workspace has evolved into a fully-equipped studio housed in a renovated RV.

What truly captivates me about silversmithing is its welcoming nature. It's a craft that embraces individuality, allowing me to express myself freely. As a self-taught artist, I've honed my skills through countless hours of practice, experimentation, and the occasional mishap.
My formal training includes silversmithing courses from Silver Anvil Rock and Gem, as well as engraving lessons from the talented Kelly McRae. However, the majority of my knowledge comes from countless hours of online tutorials, trial and error, and unwavering dedication.
